Overview

WMB Holdings has been a trusted leader in the feed industry for over 30 years, delivering quality products throughout Atlantic Canada. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our dispatch team in the role of Dispatch Clerk.

The Dispatch Clerk will serve as a key communication link between the dispatch department, drivers, customers, and internal WMB teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Accurately input customer information and order details into internal software systems. Communicate effectively with dispatch and management teams via email, and in person Coordinate with drivers regarding delivery locations, load times, and route details. Provide customers with timely order updates through email or other communication channels. Maintain and update the customer database to ensure accuracy. Update orders upon delivery and ensure all required information is forwarded to the finance department. Organize and maintain both electronic and paper records. Rotational On Call schedule for after hours communication with drivers Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Experience in a dispatch environment, data entry, or clerical role is considered an asset. Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into software systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Competitive Wages

$37,440 to $41,600 Annual Salary with compensation for on-call

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with rotational on call for after hours issues
