We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to cleanliness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality environments is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to learn.
Duties
Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans promptly to ensure kitchen efficiency
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, equipment, and dining areas
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating
Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
Restock supplies and ensure all kitchen tools are sanitized and organized
Support the serving staff during busy periods by managing dishwashing and cleanup duties
Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
Experience
Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service setting is preferred but not required
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food preparation techniques, and food handling standards is advantageous
Experience with cleaning protocols within a commercial kitchen or hospitality environment is desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
