Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen and ensuring that food preparation runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment to maintain a clean kitchen environment. Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager. Support the cooking team by ensuring that all necessary items are readily available for service. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen, including floors, counters, and storage spaces. Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed to ensure a smooth flow of service. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff. Participate in catering events or banquets as required, assisting with setup and breakdown of service areas.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience in food preparation, cooking, or catering is a plus. Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained. A background in hospitality or culinary arts will be beneficial for this role.
