We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a dynamic hospitality environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality food service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and supporting the overall operations of our restaurant or hotel.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Assist with food handling and storage to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
Follow all sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean work environment.
Support other team members in various tasks as required within the kitchen.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices is a plus.
A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen are highly valued.
