We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients.
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Support the serving staff by providing clean dishes and utensils as needed.
Participate in maintaining inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management.
Experience
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is beneficial.
Experience in food service or hospitality settings will be considered an asset.
Strong cleaning skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
