Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and efficient service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, experience in food handling, and a strong work ethic to support our culinary team.

Duties

Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards Assist with food preparation tasks to ensure timely service Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas by regularly cleaning dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment Manage dishwashing responsibilities efficiently during busy hours Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times Support the kitchen staff with basic food prep and plating when needed Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the kitchen environment Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food safety standards Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Excellent teamwork and communication skills Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
