We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans
Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized regularly
Support banquet and catering services by preparing food items as needed
Bus tables and assist with serving when required to enhance guest experience
Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure safety and quality standards are met
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques
Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus
Ability to handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment
Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service
Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and adapt to changing menus
Strong attention to detail in both cooking and cleaning tasks
