Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment while supporting food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong attention to cleanliness, and experience in food handling and kitchen operations. Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning dishes under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers. Support the kitchen team during food service by bussing tables and ensuring timely delivery of clean dishes. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, workstations, and storage areas. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance. Assist with catering setups and banquet service as needed. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying management of shortages or equipment issues.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Experience with food preparation tasks such as cooking, plating, or basic culinary techniques is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed. Prior experience in banquet settings or hotel kitchens is advantageous but not mandatory. This role is vital for ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering excellent guest experiences through cleanliness and efficient food prep support.
