Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook/Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring that food preparation and dishwashing duties are performed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, assisting with basic food preparation tasks. Operate dishwashing equipment and manually wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools to ensure cleanliness and sanitation. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including counters, sinks, floors, and storage spaces. Assist with stock rotation and inventory management of kitchen supplies. Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times. Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by efficiently managing dishwashing and cleaning duties. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling, and basic food preparation techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and kitchen operations. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items when necessary. A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
