The Brackendale Art Gallery, home of the Zephyr Cafe, is? vibrant and busy events venue and restaurant. We're looking for a motivated and dependable Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our team. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities

:

Dishwashing

: Clean dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment quickly and efficiently.

Prep Work

: Assist with food prep tasks including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed by the kitchen team.

Kitchen Maintenance

: Keep the kitchen clean and organized, following sanitation standards and ensuring that work areas are stocked and ready for use.

Support Team

: Assist other kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks as needed and help maintain a smooth kitchen workflow.

Safety & Cleanliness

: Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen.

Requirements

:

Prior experience in a dishwasher or prep cook role preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. A team player with a positive attitude.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
