We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join our team as a Dishwasher/Line Cook, contributing to the seamless operation of our kitchen and ensuring an outstanding dining experience for our patrons.

In the role of Dishwasher/Line Cook at Alice Restaurant and Bar, you will play a crucial dual role, supporting the kitchen as a Line Cook while also ensuring the cleanliness and organization of kitchen tools, equipment, and dishes.

Responsibilities:

Line Cook:

Assist in food preparation and execution of menu items as directed by the culinary team. Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in dishes. Collaborate with fellow cooks to maintain a smooth flow of orders during service. Keep workstations clean and organized, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Contribute creative ideas to enhance menu offerings and presentation. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Dishwasher:

Operate the dishwasher to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Hand-wash items that cannot be cleaned by the dishwasher. Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored and organized. Empty and maintain trash and recycling bins in the kitchen area. Keep the kitchen and dishwashing areas clean and organized at all times. Assist with kitchen cleaning duties as needed.
