Job description : Dishwasher Reporting to: Head Chef The Dishwasher position at Couchiching Craft Brewing Co. (CCBC) is a key position in our kitchen brigade. The Dishwasher must work diligently and closely under the Head Chef. As part of the kitchen brigade, the Dishwasher must respond with flexibility and adaptability to challenges, from equipment and product issues to consumer feedback. As a member of the food and beverage and regional business community, the dishwasher is also expected to adhere to the Mission and Vision Statements of the Brewing Co. Overview \xc2\xb7 Responsible for operating, maintaining and organizing the dish area. \xc2\xb7 Possess knowledge of dish equipment, its operation and maintenance \xc2\xb7 Ability to lift 50lbs/heavy pots and kitchen equipment \xc2\xb7 Ensure food preparation and storage areas meet and exceed health and safety standards \xc2\xb7 Comfortable working with a small team within a small work environment \xc2\xb7 Be aware of hazards and maintenance procedures involved with all kitchen equipment \xc2\xb7 Work flex evenings and weekends, as is a requirement of this position due to the nature of its responsibilities and industry \xc2\xb7 Conduct daily inspections of the dish area and equipment \xc2\xb7 Load, operate and empty dishwashing machines and sinks in a proper and respectable manner \xc2\xb7 Assist Chef with daily production tasks as needed Qualifications and Experience
