Job duties and responsibilities: Monday to Saturday/ 9 am to 5 pm \xc2\xb7 Provide fast and thorough cleaning of all kitchen equipment and utensils, dishware, glassware and pots . washing dishes \xc2\xb7 Maintain sanitized and tidy the kitchen area \xc2\xb7 Assisting kitchen staff with food preparation, as needed \xc2\xb7 Break down boxes, collecting recycling and garbage, sweeping and mopping floors \xc2\xb7 Maintain department cleanliness \xc2\xb7 Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members and other departments Skills and qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Previous kitchen experience an asset, but willing to train the right candidate \xc2\xb7 Passion for cooking and/or culinary training an asset \xc2\xb7 Must work well in a fast paced environment \xc2\xb7 Willingness and availability to work a variety of shifts, including: Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings & Weekends \xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a safe and responsible manner \xc2\xb7 Able to work independently or in a collaborative team environment \xc2\xb7 Positive attitude, with a strong work ethic \xc2\xb7 Ability to work on your feet for a full 8 hour shift \xc2\xb7 Physically fit \xe2\x80\x93 able to handle frequent lifting, bending and twisting with up to 25 kgs \xc2\xb7 Attention to cleanliness Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time
