Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests.

Duties

Operate dishwashing machines and hand wash items as needed to ensure all dishes, utensils, and cookware are thoroughly cleaned. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by regularly cleaning floors, counters, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients. Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times to maintain a safe kitchen environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to support efficient workflow during busy service periods. Dispose of waste properly and assist with recycling efforts in accordance with restaurant policies. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all duties.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation, and food handling standards is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt within a team-oriented atmosphere. Experience in cooking or serving is a plus but not mandatory.
