We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and organized. This role is essential to supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant or hospitality environment, contributing to a positive dining experience for guests. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts Ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning to prevent contamination or damage Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients Support the kitchen team by providing clean dishes promptly during busy service periods Follow health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation standards Report any maintenance issues with dishwashing equipment or kitchen facilities to management

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of food handling safety protocols Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if necessary

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$16.30 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
