Duties

Efficiently wash, rinse, sanitize and dry dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by regularly cleaning workstations, sinks, floors, and storage areas to uphold health and safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or assembling ingredients under supervision. Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage inventory of dishware and supplies, notifying supervisors when stock needs replenishing. Assist with general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas to uphold high standards of sanitation.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is valued! Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or moving supplies. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a busy setting. Knowledge of hospitality or hotel industry standards is advantageous but not essential.
