Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with health regulations. Support the culinary team by providing clean dishes promptly during busy service periods. Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling and sanitation practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a commitment to providing excellent service in a hospitality-focused setting. Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed within the kitchen operations.
