We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in providing exceptional food service. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The Kitchen Helper plays a vital role in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering quality service to our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking under supervision Bussing tables and clearing dishes to maintain cleanliness in dining areas Support catering and banquet setups, including arranging serving stations and assisting with event needs Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces through regular cleaning and sanitizing Handle food safely following proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards Support the serving staff during meal service periods as needed Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock levels Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices Experience with bussing, cleaning, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting the culinary team Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required Prior banquet or hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
