Duties

Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Support banquet and catering services by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Report any maintenance or repair needs for kitchen equipment to management.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food service operations is a plus. Experience in catering or banquet settings is beneficial. A background in culinary arts or hospitality can enhance your application but is not mandatory. Strong cleaning skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
