Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure it is organized at all times. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including cleaning vegetables and organizing ingredients. Help maintain kitchen cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors regularly. Dispose of waste properly and assist in recycling efforts within the kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to help out in various areas of the kitchen as needed. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required by the job duties.
