Playground is rapidly expanding and is currently seeking an energetic and talented Dishwasher to join our dynamic team in The Rail Coal Fire Bistro.

Since its opening in 2010, Playground has experienced immense popularity with local and international players alike. Playground is conveniently located just minutes south of downtown Montreal in the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. The Playground Complex is currently excited to reopen its poker tables (respecting COVID-capacity rules), while also offering a selection of over 600 Electronic Gaming Devices (slots). In addition, Playground includes an inviting and locally renowned restaurant The Rail Coal Fire Bistro.

Evening and Overnight Schedule 4PM-5AM - 50+ hours per week available

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Dishwasher's main responsibilities will include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately. To succeed in this position, you must be a team player and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils.
• Collect used dishes, plates and utensils.
• Load and unload washing machines.
• Stack washed items appropriately.
• Sanitize, clean and organize the kitchen area.
• Empty garbages and recycling bins.

Requirements:

• Must speak English or French and be 18 years or older.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
• Work experience in a similar position is required.

Responsabilites :

• S'assurer qu'il y a toujours suffisamment de vaisselle, de verres et d'ustensiles propres.
• Collecter la vaisselle, les assiettes et les ustensiles usages.
• Charger et decharger les machines a laver.
• Empiler les articles laves de maniere appropriee.
• Assainir, nettoyer et organiser l'espace cuisine.
• Vider les poubelles et les bacs de recyclage.

Exigences :

• Doit parler anglais ou franaais et atre age de 18 ans ou plus.
• Excellentes aptitudes a la communication et a l'organisation.
• Capacite a effectuer plusieurs taches a la fois et a rester calme et professionnel dans un environnement oa les activites se deroulent rapidement.
• Flexibilite pour travailler sur differents quarts de travail, y compris les fins de semaine, les soirs et les jours feries.
• Une experience de travail dans un poste similaire est obligatoire.
