Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting the overall operation of our food service establishment, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly. Assist in food preparation by washing vegetables and other ingredients as needed. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during peak hours. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.

Skills

Strong understanding of hospitality principles and commitment to providing excellent service. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel kitchen environment. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety standards. Experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus but not required. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain cleanliness standards.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
