Job Overview
We are seeking a part-time dishwasher to join our fast-paced Thai restaurant. This role will have hours on weekends and some weekdays. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in dishwashing in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Additional training will be provided. Benefits include one meal per shift.
Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods. Maintain the cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all items are stored properly after cleaning. Assist in organizing and restocking supplies in the kitchen and dining areas as needed. Follow safety and sanitation policies to uphold health standards within the kitchen environment. Support food preparation activities by handling food tasks when necessary. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Assist with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
Requirements
Prior dishwashing in a restaurant or hospitality environment. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food safety protocols.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
