Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in food preparation and service. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and assembling ingredients. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste. Support banquet services by ensuring that all necessary items are available for events. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen preferred. Familiarity with food service operations, including catering and banquet experience is a plus. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
