Duties

Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed to support chefs and kitchen staff. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and prepared for service. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, floors, and storage spaces. Collaborate with food service staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service periods. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safety compliance. Help with general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas to uphold high standards of sanitation.

Experience

Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards is a plus. Experience with bussing tables or supporting food service operations enhances your ability to excel in this role. Knowledge of kitchen equipment and basic food preparation techniques can be beneficial but is not mandatory. Prior banquet or catering experience is advantageous for supporting large-scale events. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
