Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, cookware, and kitchen utensils, ensuring a smooth and hygienic operation in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. This role is vital in supporting food service operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods. Ensure all items are properly cleaned, dried, and stored in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to meet health and safety standards. Manage warehousing including unloading pallets and breaking down cardboard boxes. Support kitchen staff by providing clean dishes promptly to facilitate efficient food service. Follow proper food handling procedures and safety protocols at all times. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.

Requirements

Prior experience in cleaning or food service environments is preferred; restaurant or hotel experience is a plus. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, food handling, and sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items such as pots and pans when necessary. A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.70 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
