Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment! Shifts we are looking for covered are Saturday & Sunday from 9:00am-4:00pm, with the possibility of more if needed.

Responsibilities



Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness. Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or organizing ingredients when needed. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces, dish machine. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service operations. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance. Help with setup and breakdown of catering or banquet events as part of the culinary team.

Skills



Strong understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering operations is great to have, but not needed. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of basic kitchen tasks including washing dishes, cleanliness standards, and following NS Health protocols Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

Work Location: In person
