Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential in supporting our food service operations, contributing to a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and returning items to the kitchen. Ensure that all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards. Collaborate with team members during peak service times to ensure efficient workflow. Participate in banquet setups and breakdowns as required. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Willingness to assist with various tasks including cooking, cleaning, and serving as needed. Experience in catering or culinary roles is advantageous but not required. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as necessary.
