Duties

Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met Maintain the dishwashing station by organizing clean items for easy access by kitchen staff Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas promptly during service Help with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and waste disposal to uphold a hygienic environment Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours Follow all food handling safety protocols and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations

Skills

Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food handling, cleaning procedures, and sanitation standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in various duties such as bussing or food prep Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and safety practices Experience with banquet or catering services is a plus but not required Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively within the team
