We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient environment. The Dishwasher/ Kitchen Helper will assist with potential things such as food preparation, cleaning, and basic culinary tasks, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Prior experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced culinary setting and is ideal for individuals interested in developing their skills within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and setting up stations Run an efficient and clean dish pit Support cooking activities under supervision, including basic food handling and safety procedures as needed Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and trash disposal Help with catering events and banquet setups as needed Ensure all food handling complies with health and safety regulations Support the team in serving guests during meal service and special events Follow proper sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards throughout the kitchen

Skills

Experience or familiarity with food preparation, bussing, and cleaning in a restaurant or hospitality setting Knowledge of food handling safety protocols Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork and communication skills Basic cooking skills; prior culinary or hotel experience is a plus Familiarity with catering or banquet service is advantageous Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and hospitality operations
