We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients. Support the culinary team during peak service times by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes. Ensure proper handling of food items in compliance with health and safety regulations. Participate in banquet setups and breakdowns when required, contributing to catering events. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow and timely service delivery.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards is essential. Experience in culinary roles such as cooking or food preparation is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong cleaning skills with an understanding of proper sanitation practices. Excellent teamwork abilities with a positive attitude towards serving others.
