We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our busy food service environment. The Dishwasher will ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized to support smooth restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed Support food preparation tasks such as basic food handling and prep work under supervision Ensure proper storage of clean items and organize dishware for efficient use during service Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning during busy periods Assist with light cleaning duties throughout the restaurant or catering event

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, catering, or culinary environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of food handling, cleaning procedures, and sanitation standards is advantageous Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed Basic understanding of kitchen operations such as bussing, food preparation, and serving is beneficial Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
