Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team at Kama. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness in our kitchen. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized and put away.

Shift times begin 5 pm and end typically around 11pm, but can be as late as 1 am on some days, Tuesday - Saturday.

Duties

Wash dishes, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment and by hand in a timely manner Sort, stack, and store clean dishes in appropriate areas Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and floors Empty trash containers regularly Follow proper sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times Light food prep duties as needed Ability to stand on feet and be physically active for duration of shift

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the kitchen staff
