Tap & Barrel is one of Canada's fastest growing hospitality companies, and we're looking for experienced line cooks to join the team at our NEW Brentwood location and help fuel our continued growth.

Centrally located in The Amazing Brentwood Mall, Tap & Barrel Brentwood will be a pillar in the rapidly growing North Burnaby area. Situated directly along the Millennium Line, this amazing location will feature three floors, including a lively bar and lounge, comfortable dining room, and rockin' rooftop patio with views of the city.

, you will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment in which teamwork, communication, attention to detail, and consistency are key to success.

Your duties will include:

Following Provincial health and safety standards at all times Maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant including front of house, kitchen, and dishwashing areas Washing dishes Bussing plates, cutlery, and glassware Transporting waste and empty beer kegs to appropriate disposal areas Supporting the kitchen team with miscellaneous prep and stocking
This can be a permanent position, or it can lead to a position on the kitchen line or prep team with good performance.

Has 1 year of janitorial or dishwashing experience Is passionate about people and contributes to a positive work culture Understands the importance of consistently following checklists and routines Works well in a fast-paced team environment and communicates effectively Has strong organizational and time-management skills Follows Provincial food handling and sanitation regulations Has Food Safe Level 1

Wage:

Base Wage: $18.00 - $21.00 / Hour Tips: $1.50 - $3.00 / Hour
