Wetaskiwin & District Association for Community Service

is hiring multiple positions within our agency to support individuals to enhance the quality of life for people who have disabilities.

One position will solely be based in the Connections Day Program

30 Hours Full Time Permanent Hours 9:00AM - 3:00PM
One position will require the flexibility of one hour per day supporting individuals in a Residential setting

35 Hours Full Time Permanent Hours 8:00AM - 9:00AM Residential Setting Hours 9:00AM - 3:00PM Connections Day Program
To provide direct support to individuals accessing services in both the Connections Day Program and Residential Setting require the applicant to work in areas of personal care, support in skill maintenance and development, behavioral management, swimming, and community access. Candidate must be willing to carry out Wellness programs as directed and have experience with people who have complex needs.

In general, a Program Worker provides assistance in the development or maintenance of daily living skills, assist with personal hygiene, and plan and conduct outings within the community to enhance the quality of life. Our focus is on engaging individuals to promote their best quality of life.

We provide extensive training on paid time to ensure your skills and competencies are maintained and enhanced. You will receive certifications for your career enhancement.

Please note that these positions require driving both locally and out of town.

Job requirement are:

- A clear criminal record check for the vulnerable sector (no older than 6 month)
- A valid class 5 Driver License
- A $2 million personal liability insurance attached to your automotive insurance

Wages:

$17.54 - $21.82
