Job Title Director, Trade Finance Architecture

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an experienced architect who is passionate about our mission to join the Architecture team, to be responsible for architectural delivery new Trade Finance initiatives and their backend integration for our business clients. We want vocal futurists that can advocate their vision, who will be excited about creative problem-solving as part of a cross-functional team; will obsess over providing simple state of the art solutions; will tirelessly strive for the best end-user experience and will have the drive and desire to keep learning the latest architecture developments and standards / techniques. This opportunity is well-suited for an experienced architect able to develop and promote vision, strategies and roadmaps for execution of the evolving payments ecosystem. Our strategy and solutions will ensure that the end-to-end digital solutions we create for our customers fulfil expectations, maintain ecosystem sustainability and are cost-effective. The role entails strategic and hands-on involvement in architecting variety of technology solutions within digital ecosystem and delivered in agile fashion. What will you do?

• Accountable for technical strategy and architecture roadmaps, optimally balancing business needs with enterprise target architecture objectives
• Help influence the business to understand and buy-in to the value of strategic technical directions.
• Champion and drive modernization within the portfolio, identifying technical issues & risks to reduce friction and ensure technology currency.
• Provide critical thinking and technical leadership from the idea creation stage to implementation of each program. Develops end to end solution architectures and guides other architects in developing solutions for high complexity business initiative
• Be an integral part of the delivery team but play a vital role in linking design and architecture to enterprise standards and industry best practices.
• You will join a team of similarly talented and driven architects and contribute to both ongoing improvements to our platform and customer experience and to new platform initiatives.

What do you need to succeed? Must Have:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g. engineering, physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of security architecture experience.
• Trade Finance solution experience
• Solid experience with a variety of modern technologies/approaches including event-based architecture, cloud-based deployments, REST/API first applications, mobile and web technologies
• Ability to work across teams and applications to deliver cross-functional solutions
• Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
• Develop roadmaps to provide guidance for both product managers and engineering teams on the usage of new technologies and how to achieve our longer-term platform goals.
