Midland Transport is currently seeking a Director, Sales- Quebec based out of Quebec, supporting our Quebec region. The Director, Sales - Quebec is a key member of the sales leadership team and will report into the Vice President of Sales.What You Will Do:

• Build, coach and lead Midland\xe2\x80\x99s Quebec sales team which consists of five Account Managers;
• Ensure sales revenue and gross margin targets are achieved;
• Achieve revenue plan for LTL, TL, Courier and Brokerage;
• Maintain key customer relationships while developing and implementing strategies for expanding the company\'s customer base in Quebec;
• Explore new markets, services and products and development of these opportunities for revenue growth;
• Achieve required rate increases to improve revenue quality on a continuous basis;
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement.

Who You Are:

• Years of Experience Required: 6-10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the transportation/courier industry;
• Education Required: Successful completion of post-secondary education, education in Sales and Marketing an asset;
• Major account experience is an asset;
• Sales management experience preferred;
• Solid LTL, Truckload and Courier transportation knowledge and experience;
• Highly motivated and results oriented individual;
• Strong customer service skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Knowledge of transportation operations would be preferred.
