This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world\'s most dynamic and fastest-growing sector.The Director of Sales Compensation is a key member of a team of dynamic, analytical problem-solvers that takes on highly sophisticated projects in a cross-functional, cross-cultural environment. This role will lead the development and execution of effective sales compensation programs, including quota planning, and partnering closely with the Sales Executive team to drive the right strategy for the business. This position will report to the SVP, Business Transformation. The aspiration is to enable our Sales and Customer Success teams to accelerate growth and drive productivity.Performance Objectives

  • A trusted advisor to Sales leaders on the end-to-end sales compensation design, planning, and reporting. Proficient in analytics, administration, dispute management, and operations to incentivize our Sales field, attract top talent, and drive revenue and customer growth in alignment with the company\'s GTM strategy.
  • Motivate the team with compensation and incentive plans that are simple to understand, transparent, and timely. Communicate these plans to the field in a way that builds trust and excitement.
  • Lead the quota setting process, including conducting thorough analysis to support the plan for each new year. This includes working in partnership with the Sales leaders to make the required changes throughout the year to ensure targets are reasonable, equitable and enable Enverus to execute on the financial plan.
  • Manage the team to execute on the Annual Compensation Plan Rollout Project ensuring timely distribution of plans and quotas throughout the year, accommodating changes & onboarding new hires.
  • Clearly communicate and educate the Sales team on compensation plans, changes, and performance metrics, ensuring transparency and understanding.
  • Lead the commission administration team, ensuring timely and accurate payouts and act as a product owner for all sales compensation and quota planning models, systems, and tools.
  • Regular analysis and reporting on Sales Compensation corporate performance metrics, ROI, impact vs plan and compensation operational metrics.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in RevOps, Finance, Accounting, and Sales on commissions budget planning, forecasting, and accruals.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by regularly evaluating the effectiveness of compensation plans. This involves monitoring sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending adjustments to drive desired behaviors and results.
Competitive Candidate Profile
  • 5-10 years experience of Sales Compensation experience in conjunction with other experience specifically in sales operations or finance, with progressively increasing responsibility, complexity, and scale of work in compensation plan design and administration.
  • 5+ years people management.
  • Experience building & leading a team during a period of high growth in a fast-paced performance-oriented culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, hire, develop and retain top-tier diversified talent.
  • Customer focused, able to identify and engage internal stakeholders. Demonstrates an excellent ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and build strong working relationships.
