Nymi is looking for an experienced Director for our sales engineering team. Reporting to our Senior Vice President of Field Operations, you'll lead our sales engineering team in a player/coach role as they support bookings growth in North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific. You'll assist in Nymi's go-to-market function, optimize the selling process, and help improve our products and our company. In addition, you will lead Nymi's engagement with Technical Partners.

What you'll be doing

Technical Deliverables:

  • Providing pre-sales support to prospects, customers & partners, including customer requirements analysis, solution architecture and proposal development, partner go-to-market support and training, and awareness of Nymi-specific and associated components required for a solution
  • Developing & maintaining Nymi's Technical Partner Program; working closely with Nymi's Director, Channels & Alliances, and Product Team to coordinate partner strategy
  • Foreseeing obstacles in sales situations or deployment-responding quickly and troubleshooting any issues that arise
  • Deciding priorities & strategies for Nymi's sales engineering function, and ensuring customers' technical needs are met
  • Helping to move customers from initial interest in Nymi, through POVs, Pilots to full-scale production
Optimizing Selling Process:
  • Identifying, building, managing, and improving Nymi's demo capability
  • Identifying and building an information repository to address typical customer issues
  • Providing sales/technical enablement training to the team, including use-case scenarios, sales/demo scripts, evaluation/demo environments, and sales presentation materials
  • Helping create, maintain, and improve Nymi's Technical Questionnaire to capture technical environments
  • Collaborating with the customer success team in facilitating seamless onboarding of customers to projects to achieve ultimate sales objectives for each account
  • Working with partners to facilitate wider market presence
Product & Company Improvement:
  • Acting as the voice of the market for input into product intake funnel
  • Reviewing planned product roadmap and releases to address customer and market need
  • Offering input across the organization as the voice of the market
  • Providing input to management for continual improvement of operations and the Nymi solution
What you bring to the table
  • Experience leading a team of sales engineers working remotely
  • Experience in Identity and Access Management
  • Knowledge of Windows Domains & Networks
  • Experience in Active Directory/Azure AD
  • Experience in Authentication Technologies
  • An understanding of FIDO2 and other authentication standards
  • An understanding of Network Security Standards
  • Experience with Wearable Technology a plus
  • Experience with NFC and BLE a plus
  • MSSQL a plus
