As the Director of Product Management for Smart Security, you\'ll be at the forefront of our mission to become the leading innovator in the industry.   • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with our company\'s vision, setting clear objectives for your team\'s success.
  • Rhythm of Business: Lead business governance rituals as acting General Manager, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Customer Listening: Drive product discovery by engaging directly with customers, uncovering insights to shape our products and services.
  • Roadmap: Define and execute a roadmap that aligns with ecobee\'s vision, driving innovation and differentiation in the Smart Security space.
  • Full Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end creation, launch, and optimization of products and services, working collaboratively with design, engineering, and research teams.
  • Leadership: Inspire and develop a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
What You\'ll Bring to the Table:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with a track record of success in shipping software directly to consumers or small businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business growth through strategic initiatives, acting as a key contributor to Line of Business and/or P&L management.
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to influence across an organization and build and manage high-performing teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a willingness to dive into new challenges head-on.
  • Strong analytical skills and a customer-focused approach to decision-making.
  • Empathy and a desire to work closely with end-users to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Navigate and simplify complex challenges, demonstrating agility and adaptability in ambiguous situations to drive forward progress effectively.
  • Experience in building, launching & driving successful and revenue-generating SaaS subscription products or working in the security industry is a plus.

  • Round 1: A 45-minute phone call with a member in Talent Acquisition
  • Round 2: A 1 hour interview with the Hiring Manager
  • Round 3: 1 hour interview with 3-4 members of the cross functional team - expect technical, behavioural, and situational questions.
  • Round 4: Case Study - For the final interview, you will be given 1 week to complete, and then present a Case Study. The goal of this round is to see how you think, and what you\'re like to collaborate with.
