The role of the product management organization is focused in three core areas; execution and delivery of product approved projects for new and ongoing initiatives, support business development activities, and support the execution and maintenance of the target operating model.

The product management team consists of product line and application subject matter experts as well as business analysts that will engage with business line owners, business development, client services, CSM, IT, product development and project management office for direction and prioritization of initiatives.



As the Director of Product Management for Debt Services, you will be responsible for leading the product strategy, development, and delivery of innovative debt service offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the products are aligned with internal as well as external stakeholders and market trends.

Your expertise in the debt services industry will be crucial to identify new opportunities, establish product roadmaps in collaboration with our leaders, and drive business growth. You will also lead and develop a team of product managers and work closely with executives to align the product vision with MUFG Investor Services overall strategy.

Reporting to the Head of Private Equity and Real Assets You Will:

  • Lead a global team that provides day to day support of Debt Services products \xe2\x80\x93 namely Loan Administration, CLO Administration, Loan Closing and Loan Servicing but also other applications utilized by MUFG\xe2\x80\x99s internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as business solution owner for applications within Debt Services operating models and provide SME-level support as required.
  • Working virtually and globally to deliver a consistent service to internal and external stakeholders irrespective of their location or time-zone.
  • Share leadership role with Operations in the development of processes and best practice standards that will be applied either to the Global support team or other functions leveraging Debt Services applications or tools.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Debt Services Product Management queries from internal departments and external clients, responding and delegating as appropriate.
  • Provide business solutions (while working with internal and external stakeholders) to analyze requirements and gaps and define/implement solutions as needed.
  • Lead the application related aspects of the new client onboarding process. Collaborate with Client Operations & Client Integration teams to translate Fund Document language into technical requirements for system setup to a best practice standard that ensures the highest level of transparent automation achievable for the given use case.
  • Collaborate with Client Servicing teams to ensure consistency of service delivered.
  • Support the business development team to attract new business and onboard to the Target Operating Model. This includes delivery of system demonstrations to prospective clients and development/enhancement of system demonstration material.
  • Participate with other Leads in the development of all Product Roadmap items, including system integrations, platform enhancements, and new acquisitions as needed.
  • Stay current with new technologies, tools or applications and acquire new skills required to cater to changing demands.
Qualifications

You Have:
  • 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience supporting Debt Services.
  • Demonstrated experience includes knowledge of the following:
  • Syndicated Bank Loans
  • Direct Lending Loans
  • CLO Administration
  • Loan Closing
  • Loan Servicing
  • Extensive experience in Loan Administration, with an understanding of Loan specific complexities, Asset maintenance and Lifecycle events
  • Proficiency in effectively managing a team of subject matter experts in Debt Services.
  • Exceptional communication skills to deliver information to diverse clients, stakeholders, and personnel at all levels within an organization.
  • Capable of modeling business processes to support product operational usage. Can produce artifacts such as process models, use cases, procedural guides and scenarios.
  • Openness to travel up to 20% of the time, presenting the opportunity to broaden your professional network and establish connections with new stakeholders.
