Make a Difference! As a volunteer Director of Social Media at Royal City Studios, you\'ll be helping the music community in Guelph and surrounding areas to be the best musicians they can be! Role Description As the Director of Social Media, you will be a leader reporting to the President. As part of the RCS volunteer leadership team, you will take on all aspects of Social Media Marketing for Royal City Studios. You will have the freedom to plan your post schedule and create engaging posts that adhere to Brand Guidelines provided by the Director of Marketing and Advertising. You will collaborate with stakeholders, such as bands, other Directors, and the President of RCS to ensure graphics and posts meet expectations. You will track metrics and trends, adjusting your work with a test and learn approach. In addition, you will be accountable to monitor direct messages as well as engage with platform and industry influencers and potential customers. Role Requirements

• Knowledge of social media scheduling services like Buffer and Hootsuite
• Ability to understand metrics and adjust strategy accordingly
• Specific knowledge of Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok
• Work within branding guidelines
• Ability to create engaging graphics and short videos
• Ability to correspond using social account DMs
• Self-starter
• Team player
• Genuine

Role Expectations

• Ensure daily posts on multiple platforms
• Promote all recurring and one-time events
• Promote core services and specials
• Build and lead a team as required to support the work
• Create viral campaigns
• Engage with influencers on Social Media platforms to build partnerships and expand follower base
• Respond to and/or redirect messages on each platform
• Set quarterly goals aligned to Corporate objectives
• Attend weekly Leadership meetings
