Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior leadership role is responsible for developing and executing a unified strategy that drives revenue growth, builds brand awareness, and deepens customer engagement. The Director balances vision with action: shaping strategy while also rolling up their sleeves alongside the team to ensure momentum, alignment, and results.
This is a pivotal opportunity to influence company direction, build and mentor a talented team, and strengthen Adventure Canada's presence in niche travel markets through sales leadership, brand storytelling, and digital strategy.
What You'll Do
Develop and lead an integrated sales and marketing strategy aligned with Adventure Canada's values and growth goals.
Manage and mentor a compact cross-functional team (Sales Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, Brand & Partnership Manager), building them into a high-performing unit.
Drive lead generation, sales conversions, client retention, and growth of B2B partnerships.
Oversee brand, content, and digital marketing strategies across multiple channels.
Evaluate and make recommendations on future e-commerce opportunities.
Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on business planning, forecasting, and brand development.
Represent Adventure Canada at industry events, trade shows, and with key partners.
What You Bring
7+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership, ideally in travel, hospitality, or a related industry.
Proven ability to grow revenue, build brands, and develop teams.
Hands-on digital marketing expertise, with the ability to oversee strategy and contribute to execution.
Strong partnership-building skills, particularly in niche markets.
Expertise in CRM systems, analytics, and sales enablement tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
A passion for travel, culture, and creating unforgettable guest experiences.
Location & Work Model
Based at our Mississauga, Ontario office (hybrid model with flexibility).
Occasional travel required, including trade shows, client meetings, and select expeditions.
