We primarily do this by offering customized coaching and engagements to drive improved client delivery, improved business performance and efficiencies in the advisor practice.Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Practice Management; the Director will be responsible for developing and delivering a superior client experience with Mackenzie through Practice Management solutions. This position is located in Montreal. The successful candidates\xe2\x80\x99 responsibilities will include collaborating with Regional Sales Teams and Financial Advisors to reach their business goals.The individual\xe2\x80\x99s core responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering practice management solutions through public speaking to financial advisors at presentations, workshops, keynotes, professional development days, dealer events, conferences, webinars, and conference calls.
  • Align with the National Accounts Team and the Strategic Alliance Team initiatives to support Dealer Head Office practice management initiatives.
  • Assist the sales teams to build partnerships with advisors in their territories to increase the breadth and depth of Mackenzie distribution.
  • Engage in coaching and workshop sessions with advisors across Canada.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Management Team and provide thought leadership to assist in the development of practice management tools, materials, and other resources to be used by advisors to provide support for their businesses.
  • Research top Practice Management upcoming trends and provide timely content in forms of presentations, articles, worksheets and learning courses.
The following qualifications will assist the successful candidate in carrying out these responsibilities:
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is a mandatory requirement for this role.
  • BA in relevant field; Masters preferred
  • Completion of Canadian Securities and/or IFIC preferred.
  • Professional Coaching training and certification preferred.
  • Public speaking experience preferred.
  • Proven customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of financial services/mutual fund industry - Must be familiar with industry related issues and the needs of the various distribution channels.
  • Demonstrated coaching, leadership and facilitation skills - Must be familiar with coaching principles, concepts, techniques and competencies that assist in determining client\'s level of intent, commitment and action.
  • Knowledge of the critical aspects of practice management for financial advisors (strategic business planning, team management, discretionary business, segmenting, capacity and profitability, communications, marketing to existing clients, managing client expectations, branding, creating process and systems, leadership, technology, self-management etc.)
  • Ability and willingness to travel
