We have an exciting opportunity available to join our fast-growing Learning Solutions department. The Director of Leadership, Research and Content Development \xe2\x80\x93 External Client Facing leads a collaborative team dedicated to the development of a wide range of high-quality learning products for our external clients, with a target audience of Leaders and HR professionals. This role is responsible for the creation of the content development agenda for the Learning & Development products. Our suite of learning products for our external clients includes eLearning, classroom training material, blended learning programs, microlearning, learning guides, webinars, and videos. Learning content is based on defined HR and leader competency. Key responsibilities:

  • Leads, coaches, and develops a collaborative team of 2-4 people managers and 7-10 indirect reports (Instructional Designers, Research Analysts).
  • Creates the agenda of external-facing learning product content to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Ensures high quality, engaging products by directing and enhancing the content development and quality assurance processes.
  • Delivers client-facing expertise in Leadership and HR development space and develops the research team to do the same.
  • Partner with our commercial teams to demonstrate \xe2\x80\x9cproof of concept\xe2\x80\x9d for our learning content and over-the-phone advisory services to potential clients, and to scope out training engagements.
  • May facilitate or co-facilitate online and onsite training offerings targeted mainly to leaders and HR audiences using a variety of creative techniques aligned with adult learning principles.
Education and Experience Essential:
  • 10+ years of relevant HR or Learning & Development experience or equivalent internal research experience.
  • Demonstrated competency in creating and publishing high quality, engaging HR and leadership facing learning content
  • Ability to match client needs to our suite of learning products and services
  • Experience as a people manager
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Advanced facilitation and presentation skills
Desirable:
  • A specialized degree or diploma in Adult Education, HR, Psychology, or Business
  • Experience in Articulate Rise and Black Board or other Learning Management Systems
  • Experience and familiarity with formal research methods
  • Experience working with large, global organizations and/or working with internal or external clients
Skills:
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, flexible, rapidly changing work environment
  • Proven ability to motivate, coach, empower, and performance manage staff to deliver organizational goals, while also delivering value back to employees
  • Strong project and time management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions that demonstrate a broader scope of contextual and business acumen.
  • Intellectually curious about the effect of learning & development on the business landscape, with a passion for continuous learning
