Job Overview


The Director of Infrastructure & Housing is responsible for the planning, development and project management for: construction or repair of public buildings, earth structure (above and below ground), pump stations, roads, trails, parks and systems related to water distribution and sanitation.

Responsibilities



Develops and implements asset inventory, long range capital plans and maintenance programs Creates yearly and project budgets to support plans and finds funding through proposals, applications and other strategies. Ensures the safety of the water distribution and sanitation systems and the development of infrastructure for future growth. Establish performance metrics and evaluate organizational performance against these benchmarks. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Develops Housing Strategy and operational frameworks for long term housing needs Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance visibility and partnerships. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Requirements



Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Director or in a similar capacity. Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, finance, marketing, etc. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex problems effectively. Experience in strategic planning and execution is essential. Ability to lead change management initiatives successfully. A degree in business administration, architecture, engineering or a related field is preferred Project Management certification is an asset Travel for meetings, conferences, etc. Driver's license with a reliable vehicle

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.46-$57.59 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
