Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies, aligning with organizational goals that enhance profitability and support long-term business objectives.
  • Provide leadership for preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to align with organizational goals.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure smooth production cycles and capital investments.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reports to assist executives in making informed decisions.
  • Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial compliance.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency.
  • Collaborate with departments such as operations, procurement, and sales to align financial planning with business needs.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives in sourcing and production processes while maintaining quality standards.
  • Optimize finance and accounting processes for better accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards while proactively mitigating risks.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with 3 years in a leadership role within manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; accounting designation required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in inventory management, cost accounting, and capital asset oversight in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cash flow management, financial risk mitigation, and working capital strategies.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on scaling businesses and driving profitability.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate across different departments to achieve business objectives.
