Position Summary
As Director of Finance, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial health, sustainability, and strategic direction of London Bridge. Partnering closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors and the senior management team, you will ensure that our financial systems and strategies align with our mission, pedagogical vision, and long-term organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the organization's financial strategy, ensuring long-term sustainability and alignment with mission and strategic priorities
Develop and manage organizational budgets and forecasts in collaboration with program and centre leaders.
Provide clear, accessible financial analysis and reporting to the Executive Director, Board, and senior management
Oversee all aspects of financial operations including accounting, payroll, internal controls, and cash flow management
Ensure regulatory and funder compliance, managing audits, contracts, and funding agreements with municipal and provincial partners.
Work with leaders on organizational planning, risk management, and strategic decision making
Strengthen internal policies, financial systems, and risk management practices to ensure accountability and trust.
Support the annual renewal process for insurance and health and dental benefits, collaborating with providers, Executive Director and HR Director to ensure timely and accurate plan updates
About You
You are a strategic, collaborative finance leader who thrives in mission-driven environments. You bring strong technical skills and a people-centered approach to financial management
Qualifications
CPA designation and a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in the non-profit or public sector
Deep understanding of nonprofit finance, budgeting, and funder compliance (municipal and provincial)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Familiarity with accounting software and financial management systems
Commitment to equity, transparency, and collaborative leadership
