Job Description
A well-established manufacturing company is searching for a Director of Finance & Business Development to join their team in Newmarket, ON.
The Director of Finance will act as a strategic business partner to the organization and will be a crucial team member in driving the business to greater success.
Key areas of focus:
- Critically assess the business to determine areas of development (new products, factory plants etc.)
- Prepare financial models and pricing decisions.
- Interact with various departments within the organization to identify areas where more value can be added to the organization.
- Complete a market, customer and trend analysis to determine the type of business that should be pursued.
- Establish what impact certain business decisions will have on the company's margin.
- Identify ways to increase revenue.
- Assist with the implementation of business decisions.

- CPA Designation
- 3+ years of experience as a Controller
- Manufacturing experience is key
- Business development experience will be beneficial
