The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary individual to join our organization as the Director of Product Development for a large-scale Dynamics 365 project where we are building a multi-region case, service delivery, and operational platform to replace our legacy system. In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, of our Dynamics 365 solutions.
As the Director of Product Development, you will lead a talented team of architects, developers, support engineers, and external vendor resources to create innovative and customer-centric Dynamics 365 offerings that address the evolving needs of our organization and drive business growth.
What you\'ll be doing:
Product Strategy and Roadmap: Assist with the creation and execution of a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for our Dynamics 365 solution, aligning with business objectives and customer requirements.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers, testers, and support engineers - fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence in product development.
Product Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple product and development teams globally. We\'re building a platform that is heavily integrated with our member-facing app, therefore strong collaboration skills are required to bring the teams together to foster a collaborative approach to development.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, clinical, and communications, to ensure successful product launches, updates, and ongoing support.
Agile Development: Follow and enforce best practice agile development methodologies, sprints, and release cycles to facilitate rapid and iterative product development and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Performance and Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance of the development team, the platform, and the support team.

collaborate with to maintain and administer Power Platform and Dynamics 365. You will strive to implement best practices for the successful management of the platform and contribute to the maintenance thereof.
Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in product development, including data security and privacy considerations.
Technology Trends and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest technology trends, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform updates, and industry advancements, leveraging innovative solutions to enhance product offerings.
Budget and Resource Management: Manage product development budgets, resource allocation, and external vendor relationships to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Product Documentation: Ensure the creation of comprehensive documentation of product specifications, features, and functionalities to facilitate effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Proven experience at the senior level leading teams of 20+ developers or in a similar leadership role, with a strong focus on Dynamics 365 solutions. Ex consultant team leaders very welcome.
In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 applications, including Customer Service, Field Service, Omnichannel, Marketing, and their customization and integration capabilities.
Experience developing & deploying business applications using Microsoft\'s Dynamics Power Platform Core Skills: C#, SQL, .Net, D365, CRM SDK, CRM Plugins, PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, SSAS, SSRS, & Azure DevOps.
Track record of successful product development and launch, ideally in the context of enterprise software or business applications.
Previous experience with event-driven architecture for integration purposes.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, driving a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and product management best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform product decisions.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in managing product development budgets and external vendor relationships.
Great-to-haves:
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience building operational platforms would be highly advantageous - especially in a call centre and/or healthcare environment.
Experience with multi-cloud integrated environments (Azure & Amazon). While you won\'t directly use our Amazon environments, you should know how to assist with diagnosing faults and performance issues across in a multi-cloud environment.
Previous integration experience with Workday, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow etc. would also be highly regarded.
Working knowledge of event-driven architecture and previous implementation experience would be highly valued.
Previous experience with Specflow, and EasyRepro experience highly regarded.
Experience with Azure DevOps, automated deployments, pipelines, and release management process.
Previous migration experience with LogicApps, SSIS, and Kingswaysoft a definite plus.
Relevant certifications in Project Management, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform are advantageous.
Experience with compliance standards such as SOC2, ISO:27001, NIST, Sarbanes-Oxley, and HIPAA.
